Involved in the construction and civil engineering business for the past 40 years, and in 1997 bought to Australia the Geocast Wall System, which revoluntionised the car park basement retaining wall industry.

After selling the very successful Geocast business in 2007 Brian and Michael Turner, a previous employee of Geocast obtained from Helicast - a company wholly owned by Minmetal - a $40 billion company - an agreement to manufacture, sell and install Helcon Screw Piles Australia wide and new patented multi - fin cast steel screw piles.

After being the owner / operator of a successful electrical wholesaler in Sydney's Alexandria, Michael sold the business and went on to be the CEO of White City Tennis Club.  After a change of board he left to join Brian Carpenter at Geocast.  After the sale by Brian of Geocast, Helcon Screw Piles was formed.

Set up to market & install the screw piles - in load capacities up to 1,600kN, Helcon continues to grow & is set for a bright future.

Over 20 years experience in the screw pile industry throughout Australia & Internationally.  A well known pioneer from the early beginnings of the industry and continually involved in the development and improvement of products and associated methodology including new installation techniques.

Chris joined the Helcon team due to their superior "new to the market" products, offering the market a greater capacity pile and the latest development in design.
